(11 Posts)I've been having a bit of a crap time recently but when I put on certain songs I can't help but sing and shimmy!
A few favourites are:
Frank turner: reasons not to be an idiot
Beyonce: run the world
Madonna: express yourself
Gaga: born this way
Any more suggestions? I'd love to build an hour long playlist I can just whack on and sing and dance the blues away, TIA
Dance Your Pain Away by Agnetha Faltskog - you can get a good shimmy going on the "he got nothing on you" bit
Don't Leave Me This Way - Communards version. Always gets me on the dance floor.
On The Floor by Jennifer Lopez
I may have been spotting giving it socks on the dancefloor to 'Just Got Paid' at the Christmas night out

I regret nothing
Yay!! Thanks ladies I'll give them a listen in the morning when the bambino wakes
Adding robyn 'indestructible' to the list
I know it’s obvious but “Happy” by Pharrel always makes me smile and sing along, (however grumpy I am) as soon as it comes on the radio.
A couple of older ones that work on me are - The Carpenters - Close to you, and... The Monkees - Daydream Believer. 😍
Say what you want by Texas and also Be More Kind by Frank Turner
Bumping as I'm looking to create a similar playlist. Any further recommendations.
We currently love Whitney 'i wanna dance with somebody'
Belinda Carlisle - Heaven is a place on Earth
Wham - Freedom
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
The Weather Girls - It's Raining Men
