My friends and I are putting together a list of fifty fun things to do before we are fifty. Nothing expensive. Things like swim off the English coast, dance all nught, learn to make cocktails, etc. Any ideas? All thoughts appreciated. X

A friend of mine wanted to climb Snowdon before she was 50, we ended up doing the 3 peaks, in 24 months though, not in 24 hours!

Try a naturist beach & swim in the sea
Walk up Snowdon

Go clay pigeon shooting or to an archery lesson.
Get all dressed up and have afternoon tea at an expensive hotel.
Join in at a local rock choir (your first session is free).
Go to a (cheap-ish) music festival, and camp there at least one night.
Try snowboarding/skiing at a local ski centre.
Go out drinking dressed in (all different, not themed, not 'sexy') fancy dress.

Ask everyone what they have a fear of and find a way to help them face it as a group. Try climbing a rock wall and abseiling down for fear of heights, join a choir or book karoke booth for fear of singing in public, everyone head to the local pool and do swim session with person afraid of water.

Take an alpaca for a walk.
Go to the Grand National / Gold Cup.

Do something to support Woman Friday (i may have got the name wrong, sorry! Use the men's changing rooms or go to men-only club/gym etc and claim to identify as a man). Get your name in the papers - make your future granddaughters
