DH says it's weird but I'm really enjoying my greggs custard slice while soaking in my hot bubble bath Grin

No, I still have an irrational superstition about getting the bends if I ingest anything within 2 hours of going near a bath, as drummed into me by my batshit mother Grin

I've never eaten in the shower and will probably pass on trying 😂

No, it wouldn't occur to me I don't think. Definitely like a glass of wine in there though.

Absolutely. Heaven is me, my kindle, a mug of tea and a bowl of snacks plus a deep, hot bath!

I've tried to enjoy a cup of tea in the bath before. The difference in temperature between the bathwater and my tea was distracting.

Glass of wine and nuts or crisps when I'm in the bath is my ultimate treat!

Glass of wine but no snacks, they would get damp.

Noooo gross.
A glass or mug of something maybe but food?
Yuck 🙈

My idea of a perfect relaxing evening....
red hot bath, glass of wine, maltesers and magazine/Mumsnet!

How do you stop the snacks getting damp?

Report
Doje · 05/11/2018 20:18

I'm definitely going to try it now!

I chose our bath primarily for the length and depth, but also for the very wide side which allows both mug and bowl of snacks to sit nicely and so no dampness

I have never even considered eating snacks in the bath! MN has opened my mind to so many things Grin

Yes. But crisp like snacks (although not crisps) and chocolate.

They don't get damp. Or last long enough.

My DD used to love beans on toast for tea in the bath when she was small.

I have been known to eat my tea in the bath and stay in it all evening (with regular hot water top ups). I always have snacks and drinks in the bath, it's amazing, I think I was a hippopotamus in a previous life.

I must be a weird person... love baths and love food but the thought of EATING IN THE BATH has given me the heebiejeebies quite substantially Envy
