Anyone else’s socks twist round?

Back to wearing socks. And back to having my socks twisting round. Does anyone else have this?

Every time I wear socks even with shoes on my socks twist round inside and end up upside down
Why is this???

I have tried cheap socks and expensive socks. But they still twist...

But they twist round to a point where they all get holes in them in the same place. I’m fed up with having to buy new socks all time. And they are uncomfortable.

Please tell me I’m not the only weird person out there that has this happen to them ... or do I just have weird feet.

You are not alone, OP.

Now the weather's turned so cold at night, I've started wearing my bedsocks again. For some bizarre reason, my right bedsock (and only the right one) turns around somehow while I'm asleep, and every morning I wake up with the heel part on the top of my foot. Confused

Does it happen at any other point. It is driving me mad. Even if I’m not wearing shoes they turn round. My husband says I just have funny feet 😂

only happens with socks with a low cotton content. or when they are too small (am between 2 sizes)

cotton rich and the bigger size and it's fine.

I tried bigger and smaller size. Didn’t socks made of different things. Nothing works. It’s so annoying

Both mine do, more as I’ve got older (57). It’s a family joke in our house.

Weird, only happens to me when I wear socks in bed.

But I would like to know why trainer socks are incapable of staying on my heel. they always slide down.

Only in certain crap shoes for me. If I'm wearing my hiking boots or similar, all fine, but if I wear cheap ankle boots then it's twist city Central. And I absolutely can't stand it!!

Happened to me as a schoolgirl - twist round, creep down, disappear into my shoes. Was the bane of my school life.

Only running socks don't do this to me. Normal socks I can be just walking round in the house and they will be upside down

I have this but they also fall down and slip under my heel - only sainsburys basic black socks don't. I think I must walk differently to others Confused

Both feet do this, and doesn't matter what type of socks or shoes - even the tight dvt stockings I had after birth. Also get them slipping down past my heels in shoes unless the socks are very tight. Absolutely maddening!
