Music player for 6yo

My DD has asked for a 'music player' for her bedroom for her upcoming birthday.

My music is always played from my iPhone onto various Sonos speakers in the house. I don't want her to be monopolising my phone, nor having a phone of her own at 6!

Can anyone recommend a robust and simple to use music player and speakers that won't break the bank? Would prefer to be able to download music over WiFi (we have a Spotify subscription) rather than plugging into my laptop. Preference for speakers that plug in and not need endless batteries/recharging.

Budget of about £60 for both but could spend a bit more if it might last until preteen years! Thanks in advance it was radio cassettes or nothing in my day!

Ours both have an old fashioned CD player boombox. They listen to audio books on them. You could get her some kiddy music CDs or give her the Spice Girls 'Spice' album which surely we all own?

Hmm we got rid of all our CDs a few years in a moment of Kondoing madness they didn't 'spark joy'! and I'm not keen to go back there! I think if I showed my DD a CD she'd try to put it in the DVD player!!
