Hi all, I am looking for a floor lamp that gives masses of light (but no heat), suitable to working in a very dark room. Around the £50 mark please. Thank you!!

We have this one which we've used as a main light in rooms while waiting for the proper lights to be installed. It has three bulbs so nice and bright, although it's soft toned. You need to use LED bulbs so as not to overheat the paper covering.

Thank you Bertie. I was hoping for something more appropriate for working (think office) and durable (no paper).

We bought this for my Mom. It's not the prettiest (and a little over budget) but it's fully adjustable and gives out lots of light.
