just wanting to see what different price ranges are out there!
For a 2 bed terraced house where I live in Cornwall it’s around 195k.
Currently saving up for a house deposit, will hopefully be there soon!grin

Lollipop29 Mon 18-Jun-18 15:20:56

sofato5miles Mon 18-Jun-18 15:26:25

South Glos 270,000

4 bed detached around £200k (depending on area), Scotland. House prices down south never cease to amaze me!

I’m close to Kingston but in a slightly less expensive area. We haven’t got many 2 beds here, but the 3 bed terrace we rent (standard 3 bed size, two big rooms and a box room, living room and kitchen diner downstairs) would be about £415,000 to buy.

Sirzy Mon 18-Jun-18 15:32:20

3 bed semi here (north west) about £150,000

2 bed terrace around £80,000

KirstenRaymonde Mon 18-Jun-18 15:32:52

That would be one of the cheapest options for a house like this around here as well, they can go way up from that.

I'm in Manchester. In my specific bit, a 2 bed terrace would set you back £200k ish, but there's a huge variation between them (£16 - £220) but that is based on size (e.g. is it 2 downstairs rooms plus kitchen, or just living room and kitchen).

In some places in Manchester you can get a 2 bed terrace for £60k. Most expensive is £300k.

2 bed terrace in wimbledon next door to me just sold for £780k

Whatamuddleduck Mon 18-Jun-18 15:33:46

2 bed terrace in Somerset around 190k, we are just (literally meters) south of the commuter belt for bath and Bristol. The village up the road, add 40kmimimum. Glad we bought when we did as commuter belt is getting closer!

And yet it's also the most affordable!

Wellthisunexpected Mon 18-Jun-18 15:34:52

That sould be 160k - 220!

Lollipop29 Mon 18-Jun-18 15:35:25

Houses down south are ridiculously expensive compare to up north. Crazy how much the house prices range from.
For a 3 bed semi detached it’s 500k just because it has a small sea view from it.

kyrenialady Mon 18-Jun-18 15:36:36

2 bed terrace in Stoke On Trent about £50,000 with a bit of doing up needed. £70,000 would get you a lovely little house.

Oliversmumsarmy Mon 18-Jun-18 15:36:38

2 bed north London area. £780,000. 3 bed semi £950,000. Both gone within days of going up for sale.

ZispinAndTurmericLatte Mon 18-Jun-18 15:37:00

The cheapers 2-bed terraced house nearby seems to be £89,950, but it's not much to look at, and not in a great location (busy road, estate). Looks perfectly fine inside, though, and has a garden. You can get a nicer looking 2-bed terraced house on a quieter road for c. £120,00 - £130,00. And there's a decent looking (if not huge) 4-bed end terrace for £175,00 near us.

Small town, NW England.

Outskirts of Manchester - 2 bed terrace with road parking around 280-300k

Lollipop29 Mon 18-Jun-18 15:39:43

Go glad I don't live anywhere near London, the house prices amaze me.
I'm happy just to pay an expensive train ticket to visit every now and then!
If I was saving for a house deposit in London, I think I would be living with my parents until I'm gone 50grin

Bluntness100 Mon 18-Jun-18 15:41:54

I'm in West Sussex, I just had look and the cheapest near me, two bed terrace, is on at 390k, the most expensive is 450k.

Hefzi Mon 18-Jun-18 15:47:20

2 bed ex-council semi - about £550k (South Bucks/Oxon. Anything 3 beds or more in our village goes for over a million. Just another reason I'll never be a home owner grin

KirstenRaymonde Mon 18-Jun-18 15:47:42

@sirfredfredgeorge I think we’re talking about different Kingston’s!

LaurieFairyCake Mon 18-Jun-18 15:49:20

2 bed mid Terrace - just £565000
