I’ve recently read:

Little fires everywhere
The guilty ones
He said she said
Close to home
Good me, bad me
The child
Elinor oliphant
The couple next door

I love Linwood Barclay and Jodi Picoult but they don’t have anything new.

I need a new book for the gym grin

A series I keep going back to is Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next books - clever meta fiction.

A Little Life...incredible book but possibly not to be read in public, I was an absolute sobbing mess at some points!

Thanks... yes, I lean my kindle on the screen of the cross trainer / treadmill / bike and read.

A Little Life is brilliant.

Lisa Jewell's new works are also really good.

Mhairi MacFarlane for something light hearted and easy to read.

I've just read
Faking Friends
My Sweet Revenge

And am half way through
Her Every Fear.

Enjoyed them all and I'm very picky with books!

Thirding A Little Life- best book I've read in 20 years.

Is it awful that Paige Toon's name really annoys me? It sounds made up.

That and her books' awful pastel covers mean I've never even picked one up in a shop.

Sorry off topic. I recently enjoyed The Wife Between Us and it's quite light so if you want to read in the gym (wtf!) you will be able to keep on it!

First thing that came to my mine and the best book I've read in a long time is A Little Life - so fourthing that.

I wasn't mad about the Goldfinch but really enjoyed Donna Tarrt's other books. The little Friend and especially The secret History.

If you like clever whodunnits The Dry and Force of Nature by Jane Harper are excellent
