When it gets annoying just sing “Stop right now, thank you very much”

We had a pair of singing roofers next door a while back - they had a huge and varied repertoire and kept us entertained for two solid days.

At least he's cheerful.

The bloke that did our carpet had an extensive repertoire of depressing country and western dirge.
Nothing but abandoned spouses and dead livestock

We had 5 carpet fitters recently and they would occasionally break out into a line of a song depending on what was on the radio. Then Ed Sheeran Castle on the Hill (is that what it's called?) came on and all 4 sang the whole thing at full volume. Brilliant.

My tattooist used to duet with one of his coworkers to Sonny and Cher (I’ve got you babe) and The B-52s (Loveshack).

Was always fun in that shop.

Whenever I hear I Wanna Be The Only One by Eternal and Bebe Winans I always remember seeing some builders singing along and all joining in joyfully on the 'Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah' bit. 20 odd years later I still think of them. grin

ihatethecold Tue 12-Jun-18 20:16:47

Can’t wait for tomorrow’s rendition of whatever he hears on the radio grin

firehousedog Wed 13-Jun-18 07:39:47

We once had builders next door who did a great line in the Disney classics. Amazing to hear three full grown, rough and tumble looking builders singing their hearts out to Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

I forgot I was at work the other day and I sang a duet of you can’t hurry love with a colleague... we turned around to a round of applause from customers blush
