Give me a week of family dinner ideas, please!

I cook the same things over and over again I'm not a good (or organised) cook. Dh is pretty good but is home much later so I do the bulk of it.
So, beyond bolognese, pasta pesto, fish fingers etc what can I do? I need. mix of stuff I can do quickly (frozen or batch cooked) and stuff from scratch that takes a bit longer. There's nothing we don't eat (there are lots of things dc2 doesn't eat but I work around that!), and I'd like to eat less meat. And I am very big on frozen veg So MN'ers, GO!

Sausages and mash
Seeet chilli sweet potato wedge and fish of some sort.

Lamb shanks mash and veg
Steak and chips
Beef madras
Chicken Thai green curry
Vegetable stew with dumplings
Chicken with jacket potato and salad
Roast dinner
Stuffed mushrooms new potatoes and fish

The list goes on. Lots of those meals can be done veggie only x

Frittata (using up any vegetables you need to)
Smoked fish and sweetcorn chowder
Halved sweet potatoes (roast in 30 minutes) with mixed beans, chopped spring onion and sour cream
Quorn and sweet potato curry with bought naan bread

-Quiche - so easy to make
-Chicken wings - homemade marinaded extremely cheap
-Thai curry (homemade - cheap and easy)
-Fish with noodles
-Shove a chicken in the oven to roast
-Pork chops marinaded in soy and Worcestershire sauce

A minced beef and veg mix that can be used with dumplings , cottage pie or ina pastry pie.
Piece of boiled / baked gammon ( use leftovers in sandwiches)
Roast chicken
Roast pork loin ( dead easy to cut)
Pork chops
Lamb chops
Vegetable chilli/lasagne
Fish pie
Baked pots with various fillings
Steak and French fries with salad/peas
Casseroles- braised steak, chicken, etc
Various pastry pies
Good oldbeans on toast ( I do this if we fancy a pudding)
Nani goreng ( like sp3cial fried rice. Great fir using up ‘ bits ‘)
Homemade pizza
Sausage and mash
Toad in the hole
Sausage beans and chips ( very popular if someone is miserable in our house!)
Chicken Kiev
Lamb raging
Curry- with or without meat
Chunky homemade soup. Fab with home made soda bread which is really quick and easy to make

Tray bake chicken - the nigella Spanish chicken and chorizo one is nice

Also cook a crust less vege quiche in the oven at the same time and reheat the following night (I do mushroom and onion)

Tacos ( you could do a double batch of the meat sauce and freeze)

Stir fried rice - cook the rice the day before as it works better if it is cold.

Vegetarian chilli using kidney beans

I make a chicken pasta ( made up recipe) where I brown some diced chicken, remove, soften an onion and some garlic, add a couple if finely diced zucchini, Passata and Italian herbs. Cook for 15 mins or so then pop the chicken back in for 10 mins and add a packet of frozen spinach for the last few minutes.

English breakfast (eg sausage, eggs, beans, tomatoes, bacon)

Also sainsburys do a great frozen vegetarian range that I've recently discovered. Really cheap as well. Things like mushroom crisp bakes. I shove a couple of them in the oven when I can't be bothered to do anything else

express lasagna with pork mince

beef stew - brown the meat ,stick in casserole dish with a couple of tbsp flour stirred through ,can of beer ,dessert spoon vinegar ,a quartered onion or two ,oxo cube,more hot water to cover ,oven low for 2 to 3 hours ,
reheat and serve with frozen yorkshires ,and or potatoes and veg

pizza and salad + garlic bread or halved salad pots cooked in tbsp of liquid and 2 tsp of oil in hot oven

smoked haddock poached in milk in oven or fryingpan with mash and cauliflower cheese /broccoli . Or those filled pasta things .

pasta with chopped bacon pieces ,mushrooms and a can of good quality tomatoes and basil /passata/jar of sauce

bought meatballs /pasta /tomato sauce and veg

roast chicken thighs pots and veg - you can put thighs plus a lemon (squeezed ,juice and shell thrown in ) plus salad pots plus garlic in dish and oven .Cook 30/40 mins at 170c .

Hungarian Goulash soup (Hairy Bikers) and crusty bread
Roast chicken

I like bread. And cheese grin

Homemade pizza/Puff Pastry Pizza and salad.

Chicken, mash and corn on the cob.
Sausages, yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese.
Salmon, new potatoes and green beans.
Chilli con carne.
Homemade burgers.
Emergency gnocchi...I always have a packet in the house!

spinach curry
spiced lentils
cajun sweet potatoes
roast tikka chicken tray bake

pasta carbonara
baked potatoes with spicy beans and cheese

Sunday = roast with trimmings
Mon = cold cuts with veg or salad
Tues = pesto pasta with broccoli, bacon lardons and peas
Wed = sausage or chicken tray bake with Mediterranean veg
Thurs= veggie night - eg golden root vegetable casserole with chickpeas and cous cous, veg risotto, bean burgers, falafels (also always make veg soup for weekend while chopping veg)
Fri = fish night - fish cakes, fish pie, salmon steaks en papillote, home made goujons, smoked mackerel and salad, salade nicoise
Sat = take out or chilli or something simple like Welsh rarebit or club sandwiches and soup

Repeat same daily structure with different meal variations!

Batch cook a really big pot of tomato sauce. Tinned tomatoes, garlic, herbs, chopped onions and peppers.

Day 1. Have a serving with pasta and Parmesan.
Day 2 Smear over a pizza base (can make with SR flour and milk, if you want) and top.
Day 3 tomato sauce and milk blended makes a great soup, add chilli to spice it up if you want. Serve with garlic bread and cheese,
Day 4. Fry some minced beef, add sauce, spaghetti bolognese.
Day 5. Add kidney beans and chilli to the Bolognese sauce for chilli con carne. Add tortilla chips on top for extra yummy ness.
Day 6 Add cooked sausages, mixed beans and sweet corn, for a yummy sausage casserole.
Day 7 put dry pasta in the bottom of an oven dish. Cover with tomato sauce. Top with chunks of sausage, chorizo, cheese. Pout water in at the edge until the pasta is covered. Bake for about an hour.
Day 8 put chicken breasts in a dish, spoon over a little tomato sauce, a slice of bacon and s9me cheese. Oven bake for 30 mine.

I could go on... if you have fridge and freezer space you don't need to eat them all day after day, but they do all taste quite different.

Alternatively, cook Pasta. Stir in a packet of value cream cheese, some garlic and herbs, sweet corn, mushrooms, warm through.
Slice potatoes, heat them up in the microwave top with Chicken breasts, pour cream and garlic (splash white wine?) over, bake till potato and chicken cooked.
Chunks of chicken breasts, ginger, garlic, chilli, coconut milk and noodles.

All my recipes are fast and don't need lots of pots. Life is short, but food is good!
