Hi, my dcs are taking part in an event tomorrow and they need a packed lunch.
There is n where to store a bag etc after and no refrigeration.
Also no nuts or items containing nuts allowed.
One child eats cheese, the other doesn't.
It will be a long day.
Can anyone help me out with filling ideas that don't need re-useable containers.
Thanks.

Marmite rolls or sandwiches in a ziplock plastic bag?

Could you put it all in a bag that can be stuffed in a pocket afterwards? So like a sandwich in cling film, an oat bar, etc. then they throw away the wrappers and put the bag in their pocket?

Thanks for the ideas.
Hadn't thought of marmite.
It will be a really busy day so they need something filling.
Definitely cheese sandwich and fruit for the one who eats cheese but finding it hard to think of something filling for the other child.

Boiled egg or Chicken (mini) filets? Works well with just bread and butter or as wrapp. Kids yoghurt 4 lunch bags?
Than our it all into a plastic carrier bag...

Chicken wrap in cling film. I'm sure it will be cold enough not to need refrigeration.
Slices of pizza?
Mini cartons of flavoured milk? If you get the UHT stuff then it will be fine, but I'd still risk ordinary milk. Both hydrating and filling.
You can get mini individually wrapped bars of malt loaf which make good filling energy boosters.

Pack two cartons of drink. Freeze one and that will keep the rest of the packed lunch cool. Avoid yoghurt as even the cleanest child will get it everywhere on the day you don't want them to and will manage to lose or throw away the spoon.

Sausage roll.
Mini cocktail sausages.
Pork pie.
Slice of quiche.
Flapjack.
Banana.
As a PP said, freeze a carton of drink and use that to keep the contents cool.

Plenty of Jam sandwiches, marmite sandwiches, crisps, biscuits, mini roll cake, flapjack all in plastic bags and a couple of cartons of juice. Yes i know it's not healthy but it's one day.

The Quorn sausage rolls are a fair size and are great for food on the go as they come in a sealed wrapper.
