It’s huge! I’m loving all the old furniture and fixtures. The size of some of those rooms!

The estate agent has nicked the Morrison's logo.

CFEA!

It’s not mine BTW! Before I get accused of advertising my house! grin it’s nowhere near my massively expensive rental! It just came up on my news feed.

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:12:44

Ha! So they have! grin

TheQueenOfWands Sat 17-Mar-18 23:14:36

Ooooo, no. Not my scene.

I love the green lounge rug and the coal scuttle but that's it.

Looks a bit square and dismal from the outside, like a 70s community hall.

Inside looks a bit like a boat.

But I have questionable tastes, if you love it then that's what matters.

Archduke Sat 17-Mar-18 23:14:52

erm . . . yes, it's large and the features are nice but the exterior is depressing the bedrooms are dreary and the carpets are, er, not my thing.

This house is one that I've been obsessing over recently.

Gide Sat 17-Mar-18 23:15:06

You could buy it and spend less monthly on a mortgage! Why is it so cheap?

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:17:14

It is a bit dreary on the outside but I grew up in a house that looks very similar outside so maybe it’s nostalgia that is stirring my interest?

It’s far too far away for me to live. Aside from the fact that I wouldn’t get a mortgage for a matchbox right now grin

dungandbother Sat 17-Mar-18 23:17:23

Good lord.
I'm house hunting right now and I could buy that outright.

Could I move there though???? Not sure the kids would approve.

OP I'm with you. It's absolutely stunning

TheFaerieQueene Sat 17-Mar-18 23:18:53

I really don’t like it, sorry.

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:18:56

Oooh archduke that’s lovely! Are you in Australia? Btw is that a granny annexe with the bed in the kitchen? confused

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:19:41

It just seems so very homely and cosy doesn’t it dung?

Archduke Sat 17-Mar-18 23:21:02

Yes I'm in Oz, and yes it's a kind of rumpus room/sleep out/studio flat (perhaps more common over here).

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:22:47

It’s stunning. like it’s straight out of Houzz!

MyDcAreMarvel Sat 17-Mar-18 23:25:36

Wow, wonder how many trees lost their lives furnishing that house.

SinglePringle Sat 17-Mar-18 23:30:41

Paint the exterior and get rid of all that hideous paintwork inside. That brick red is horrific.

Keep the hallway / wood panneling but completely redecorate and change a couple of the fire mantles.

It has huge potential but is currently soulless, cold and depressing.

SinglePringle Sat 17-Mar-18 23:32:56

And the kitchen needs to go in the dump.

Every single room needs a complete overhaul. The pine!! shock

Gorgeous floors, staircase, size.

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:35:15

Oh no. I would keep it all. I would even haggle with them over leaving their furniture grin I would make up stories about every piece.

CanIBuffalo Sat 17-Mar-18 23:36:11

I can't get past the pebbledashing tbh.

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:40:29

grin

I will accept I have no taste whatsoever.

Bloodybridget Sat 17-Mar-18 23:40:33

Wow, that house could be fantastic! £325k!

WaxOnFeckOff Sat 17-Mar-18 23:43:29

Looks like a haunted care home.

Duckeggbluetin Sat 17-Mar-18 23:43:40

I am currently about five miles away from this house. Should I go and check it out tomorrow? smile

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:44:33

shock

Oh god wax it does!

I don’t love it anymore. The furniture is telling sad stories.

NotAllTimsWearCapes Sat 17-Mar-18 23:45:25

Yes!! duck you have to now. We need to know if it smells like a carehome on a boat.
