I have gone orange!

I only have permanent hair dyes, do I risk it?

Or do I try a second box of colour B4?

Don't risk it I went orange after a colour before and put a permanent brown dye over and it was horrendous, it went like a black with an orange tinge

Yeah mine always goes orange with that stuff (I’m naturally grey black) but previous permanent colours have bleached the black so it’s orange underneath the dye.

I usually go red over it as it’s handy to have a light base for bright colours. What colour were you hoping to achieve?

A second box won’t make the hair lighter - it doesn’t have bleach in it, it’s just that the previous colours have lightened your hair, so if you want it lighter you’ll need to bleach it now.

I would do the 2nd box.

Anything other than semi takes it back to what it was.

It's worse than I thought.

It's a bright copper colour with pink/purple and normal colour.

I had to risk the dye.

Important lunch meeting for DD tomorrow which is why I tried to strip the blue I had in tonight.

You can put a semi permanent colour over it but not a permanent one for a while.

LittleLights Sun 25-Feb-18 00:46:52

I'm ok with it going back to what it was.

Anything is better than the copper/pink/purple/brown.

It's toned down the copper but not covered it.

Will use a darker brown in the morning.
