Soak in warm water to help loosen it, will take a while to come offgrin

HagueBlue2018 Thu 22-Feb-18 18:36:27

Nail varnish remover gets it off.
The acetone stuff.
I know this as DD2 got it all over her hands the other day!

I have done that , it will.come off eventually I think I just kept washing them my fingers felt like i several extra layers of skin in them though.

Massage your hand in a small amount of oil, then have a shower. I have managed to get superglue on myself an embarrassing number of times, and I'm always surprised how easily it comes off.

Hope this is helpful.

I've done that before now, it's fine. Just let it dry then keep rubbing your fingers together, it peels off.

Another clumsy one here, it will soak off in warm water.

Justanotherzombie Thu 22-Feb-18 18:59:40

Ooh! Lucky! I love when that happens. It's fun peeling it off.

I used to paint my palms with glue in school so I could peel it off grin

I did the same last week and went on YouTube. They advised that you use shaving foam and a safety razor. It did work.

Rewn7 Thu 22-Feb-18 22:55:56

Also use a rough energy board. It rubs it away nicely. Been there done that grin

Nail varnish remover is the way forwards.

Longdistance Thu 22-Feb-18 22:58:26

Emery board to file it down.

Same here Fraggle, pva glue is still irresistible- possibly less fun with super glue!!

iklboo Fri 23-Feb-18 10:18:23

Ohhhhh I was a PVA glue peeler too. Tried to get DS interfered when he was tiny but to no avail grin

iklboo Fri 23-Feb-18 10:18:58

Interfered???? Interested blush

I accidentally do that on purpose whenever I need to glue something. My inner child comes out when I have a tube of glue in my hand. And end up by accident gluing my fingers together grin love picking it off

I posted this exact same thing a few months ago! Wise MNers advised acetone and they weren't wrong. It was so satisfying peeling it off after soaking grin

My husband went to check on our daughter when she was 3 years old and asleep in bed. Came through in a right state saying the skin was peeling off her legs. Little madam had painted her legs with PVA glue. Good luck getting the superglue off OP. My mother phoned in a panic one time as she was trying to superglue a huge picture frame together and her hand was stuck to it. My brother had to saw it to a suitable size before tackling it grin.

I had a tube of super glue explode in a sealed packet once, didn't notice until i opened it. Glue exploded everywhere, mostly down my jeans. I frantically scrubbed at it to get it off, didn't realise it had sunk through the fabric onto my leg, when I took my jeans off the jeans were stuck to my leg! Free hair removal and skin exfoliation for me that day.
I've stuck my hand to the floor, to each other, so many tales to tell.
I'm not allowed to use it now without adult supervision.
