I want to start making flat whites at home and I think I need to purchase a milk foamer. I looked at the Aeroccino but it is quite pricey.

Any recommendations?

We have the nespresso one. We've had it for about 5 years and it's still going strong.

If you want a cheap and easy solution, get a mini battery operated whisk (£1 from Ikea, or you can get a branded one that looks the same for a few quid) and use it to whisk up some milk that you've heated up in the microwave.

Well, I read breast milk frother shock

Umm, the Ikea one does a good job.

I have this one from Amazon and love it. So easy to use and clean. Had it for over a year now and would definitely recommend it.

Oops, just realised that's not the one I have blush it is the Vonshef one.

I've got a relatively cheap one from Robert Dyas. Had it two years and it's still going strong. You can warm or foam milk in it and DH uses it every day.

I just got a cheap battery operated one from Argos, warm milk in microwave then froth it. Works perfectly.

Easiest for cleaning is one with a detachable jug (Lavazza and Hotpoint do them). Then the jug can go in the dishwasher. Integral ones are a bit of a faff.

The £1 one from Ikea does the job!

I have an Aeroccino but it came free with my Nespresso machine. It's decent but I probably wouldn't pay for it on its own.

Oh gosh, I also ready breast milk and was totally bemused as to whether you were making your baby a very homemade babycino haha

I have the Dualit one and it’s great.

I have a Lavazzo one. It’s great because the whole just can be washed properly.
