www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-52691091.html I can't believe the price - not that I can afford it, but it would cost millions in some areas. The rooms are so large and the gardens and view are incredible.

Stunning. Wld love to live in house like this

Muddlingalongalone Sat 10-Feb-18 00:00:22

Gorgeous. Can't imagine living so remotely though. I reckon that would be £2m+ where I am.

Wow
No other words needed !

I’d be happy with the little cottage on the side, stunning views smile

Tartyflette Sat 10-Feb-18 00:06:22

Lovely but the kitchen lets it down a bit - it looks small and underwhelming for a house that size.

Ollivander84 Sat 10-Feb-18 00:10:35

It's a beautiful area too

VelvetSpoon Sat 10-Feb-18 00:13:53

It's lovely. I had a friend at college many years ago from near there.

This is a current favourite of mine. Have always wanted a proper billiards room grin

leccybill Sat 10-Feb-18 00:19:10

Gosh, that view. Incredible. The house is nice too.

VelvetSpoon Sat 10-Feb-18 00:24:39

Actually this one was the one I'd really like. Except it's outside my price range. And even more annoyingly some one else has only gone and bought It!

Love a bit of property porn! My ideal would have master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite with enough room for a double ended bath and a double shower.
A big kitchen you could get a sofa in as well as a table and chairs and an island and two sitting rooms.
If you find one let me know!!

SuburbanRhonda Sat 10-Feb-18 00:29:37

The garden is nice but the ceilings seem really low and it has a very claustrophobic feel to it. Not for me.

usualGubbins Sat 10-Feb-18 00:34:33

Not for me, too old fashioned.

pallisers Sat 10-Feb-18 00:36:26

it is a lovely situation (although I would hate to live in the country) but I like my house better smile If it had a sea view though ...

tumpymummy Sat 10-Feb-18 00:38:42

"Highly motivated seller" !! I.e.desperate to sell!

user764329056 Sat 10-Feb-18 00:51:04

Velvet, that is beautiful

GnomeDePlume Sat 10-Feb-18 01:30:21

How about this

Lots of space plus sunshine and wine!

TealStar Sat 10-Feb-18 01:38:19

Not for me. Kitchen too small, ceilings too low and it’s semi detached so possibly not as great value as it first appears. Views and garden at lovely though.

TheDowagerCuntess Sat 10-Feb-18 02:53:18

It's lovely, but definitely needs someone else's furniture!

IAmALeafOnTheWindWatchHowISoar Sat 10-Feb-18 02:55:28

That’s lovely.

This would be mine if I won the lottery. It needs a bit of updating but the accommodation is so flexible.

Very nice. But I don't think I'd move to the countryside, just to buy a semi-detached house. It would defeat the purpose for me.

I think I'll buy this house overlooking Lake Windermere instead: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-41354460.html

TheDowagerCuntess Sat 10-Feb-18 07:20:10

OMG, the chintz! 😵

Fosterdog123 Sat 10-Feb-18 07:30:25

I'll have this modest little des res thanks www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-62507536.html

FosterDog - love it. The reason it says POA is because they couldn't fit the 0000s on the screen.

Alwaysreadyforablether Sat 10-Feb-18 07:38:10

I love that one Velvet but it would drive me nuts that there's a ceiling rose with lights either side of it rather than in the middle!
