Someone on my local facebook selling page has listed 6 vintage style cups and sources. My fingers are itching.

That is quite a corker!

The ones that make me flinch most are:

That’s a good one! I love it when I see one I haven’t seen before. All we get is endless Chester draws.

cantfindname Tue 23-Jan-18 19:21:10

Chester Draws.

Says it all.

Don’t go over to the weight loss threads then. They all want to loose their excess pounds.

One of the mums at my kids school was proudly proclaiming on FB how her daughter had laid down a 'reef' on Remembrance Sunday.

She was woohooed (wooed lol)
Vampires are killed by a steak grin

SpongeBobJudgeyPants Tue 23-Jan-18 19:31:54

I am quite fond of Pacific instead of specific grin

A woman who's in a baby related whatsapp group with me posted about how her MIL had caused her baby's nappy to leak on an overnight stay by not pulling out the 'thrilly bits' around the leg. I had to sit on my hands with that one!

BookTheif Tue 23-Jan-18 19:35:57

Dressers instead of dresses. The culprit is a dress maker.

diodati Tue 23-Jan-18 19:36:26

My DD's substitute English teacher spelled plural as "plurel" today. She corrected him, being her mother's daughter.

RebootYourEngine Tue 23-Jan-18 19:40:23

Haha these are good. grin

Growuphelen Tue 23-Jan-18 19:41:06

I love the airloomes ! And laying a reef ! When my friend was a social worker involved in custody case where one party stated the other's behaviour was 'all over the place, yer know, really erotic'

Defiantly for definitely from multiple people. "Are you going to x event?" "Defiantly!". Who are you defying??

PiecesOfHate Tue 23-Jan-18 19:46:14

I had a letter from DS's teacher which stated, more than once, that he refused to "except" help with his work.

TeaAddict235 Tue 23-Jan-18 19:50:06

An email from the accountant said mon ies !

Was sent a text saying "the check is in the post", ££

PiecesOfHate Tue 23-Jan-18 19:51:07

I have a theory about that ruleshelp : that those who misspell 'definitely' have probably misspelled it as "definately", and their autocorrect changes it to "defiantly" rather than definitely. There's no other explanation . How can anyone think defiantly is pronounced definitely!?

Pseudousername Tue 23-Jan-18 19:51:21

Defiantly ARGH!
