I did for the first time yesterday and I swear it's nearly killed me

Are they supposed to be quite so knackering? I was literally sweating within minutes

Yes they are, they are challenging, but they work.

I can't really as they hurt my knee.

I also go to the gym to get a different work out that I can't do myself.

I can walk up and down stairs anywhere. Not paying gym.membership to do that 😉

Yup, you'll certainly feel the sweat on one! I find them much better than the bike or treadmill for burning calories though. The gym I go to got new machines last year, very up to date digital counters etc so you can really see the effect. Stairmaster definitely burns more.

I like them. You're only supposed to use for 5 - 10 mins. so don't worry, OP. A personal trainer at the gym can help you. Make sure you're engaging your stomach muscles.

Yes, it blasts the calories. Brutal, but effective.
Ours have landmarks at the end, so it tells me I’ve climbed to the top of the Taj Mahal, or Big Ben or whatever.
