Too scared to test

I am a couple of days late for my period and feel sick and knackered.

I have a 22 month old DS. I do not want to be pregnant.

I know I need to do a test but I am too terrified.

Have you been under any stress? Could that be causing the late AF, nausea and fatigue?

I would test for peace of mind, but it's easier said than done. Do you think you could hold out a few days to see if AF arrived?

If you tested then you would at least know, one way or the other thanks

No not really, or no more so than usual with a toddler and work etc

My period is usually every 27 days like clockwork. I've only ever been late when pregnant sad

Mine's late too by 4 days. I tested Saturday and Sunday but they were both negative. I'm going to test again tomorrow if my period hasn't come. Usually buying a test is enough for it to arrive. I also have a 2 year old.

I've got a pregnancy test, just need to steel myself to do it.

Nannyplumssillyoldelf Mon 15-Jan-18 12:15:41

Go and do it, at least then you will know either way.

Ah do it. I think you already are assuming you are so it will help u move forward or sigh with relief.

Afreshcuppateaplease Mon 15-Jan-18 12:28:53

Come on op, two chances right!

CoraBum Mon 15-Jan-18 12:43:26

Bollocks, bloody test is faulty! Just pink dye everywhere. Don't have another one, will have to go out

Nannyplumssillyoldelf Mon 15-Jan-18 13:19:54

Argh that's annoying. My period feels like its very imminent.

Afreshcuppateaplease Mon 15-Jan-18 13:30:26

What contraception are you using op

CoraBum Mon 15-Jan-18 13:40:19

I've got the copper coil in. So really I should not be pregnant.

xXKXx Mon 15-Jan-18 14:33:25

Are you going to get another test? Let us know the results. Hope you get the results your hoping for. What if your pregnant?

CoraBum Mon 15-Jan-18 14:45:52

I work from home. I'll have to go and buy one after work.

If I'm pregnant I'm 99% sure I'll terminate the pregnancy. I am not even sure I want two children full stop, let alone two this close together.

hardtogetgoodhelp Mon 15-Jan-18 14:52:43

flowers op it's an awful feeling. Hopefully just a blip in your cycle flowers

Juanbablo Mon 15-Jan-18 15:22:13

It's best to know either way. I hope you get the result you are hoping for.

Afreshcuppateaplease Mon 15-Jan-18 16:06:09

Fingers crossed op

If it helps i once had such bad pregnancy symptoms while on the injection and no access to a test that i went insane and booked a termination. The next day when i came to my senses and got a test i discovered i wasnt pregnant. blush

Hey OP. I feel for you. My DS has just turned 2 and I had a pregnancy scare at Christmas. Thankfully it was just scare as I feel exactly as you do. Really hope it's the same for you.

Afreshcuppateaplease Mon 15-Jan-18 19:17:24

Any news op?

Crunchymum Mon 15-Jan-18 19:38:54

Oh bless you OP.

I'm being induced with 'surprise' DC3 tomorrow. There are always options and ways / means.

Knowledge is power though and it's better to know what you are dealing with.

Nannyplumssillyoldelf Tue 16-Jan-18 11:28:19

My period still hasn't arrived and I got another negative this morning so I have no idea what is going on. I hope you're ok Cora.

Afreshcuppateaplease Tue 16-Jan-18 11:47:32

Oh dear nanny perhaps try not to think about it?

CoraBum Tue 16-Jan-18 12:05:37

Afreshcuppateaplease Tue 16-Jan-18 12:08:31
