Tonight DS1 is taking DP to see Star Wars for his birthday.

I plan to make mincemeat, read my book of MR James short stories and watch a bit of something historical on the telly.

I can't blooming wait.

Anyone else got a nice evening planned?

Historical tv sounds good - what’s on?
Sunday dinner followed by baths here.

Sunday dinner followed by knitting, mulled wine and either Sports Personality of the Year or the Grand Tour and The Crown. I'm happy with either option.

We saw Star Wars yesterday. It was a lovely family evening out.

Enjoy your blissful evening.

I’ve had a lovely pub lunch bought by my lovely DP, now on sofa with cat and the last glass of wine. DP also gave me a bag of logs so I have a fire. He knows what I like smile. Going to stay here for an hour or so and read my book.

Dunno what I'll watch - I'll mooch around the channels.

I've been trying to find Scrooge - the one with Alistair Sim- but I can't find it on Netflix or Amazon. Anyone seen it?

Looking forward to a veggie roast dinner, then flopping in the sofa to watch episodes 3 and 4 of Brancroft. It's so lovely and cosy in my longe, but during the week I don't seem to spend anytime in it!

My DD1 is coming home from uni she should arrive in about 10 minutes. I have cooked her a roast dinner then we will all sit and watched Sports Personality of the Year with DH. I am so looking forward to having her home.

I spent the afternoon freezing my tits off singing carols - under a canopy, but otherwise unprotected from the cold and wet. Am now in my warm house with gas fire on, a hot water bottle and a rug, cup of tea and two chocolate biscuits inside me. I had intended to go to a local church carol service tonight, but now more likely to stay in and watch the last episode of Vanished by the Lake.

Chicken dinner with roasties on its way. Then will continue fighting horrible cold and headache with early bed and a hot toddy I think

I am ridiculously excited about watching the Agatha Christie on Channel 5. Nothing like a bit of cosy murder on a Sunday night.

DP has been away this weekend. Me and the cat binge watched Australia's Next Top Model and I ate a bag of Nik Naks, then I had a bath and finished Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Just popping a roast on for dinner when DP gets in, have poured myself a glass of wine and looking forward to DTD later on blush wink

I love days like this, I'm a proper introvert so I need them as recovery after all the Christmas socialising!

All these blissful Sundays. I actually really like middle age smile

VioletCharlotte what constitutes a veggie roast dinner round your way? DS1 is newly veggie so I'm looking for ideas.

Had a roast dinner cooked by my Dad. DS (16) and I are going to see Star Wars shortly. Cinema is five min walk away.
