DH was out Friday night and I treated myself to a chicken doner kebab, I couldn't eat it all and wrapped it back up and left it on the bookshelf (it was too cold to get out of bed)
Last night we wasn't at home and kebab is still there.
Is it ok to eat?
Ok I know it's not but I do so want it right now.

I'm so glad this is actually about a kebab.

I love a kebab but would never eat it the day after. Are you wanting to eat it cold?

Fridge yes, bookshelf no grin you don't want to spend next week stuck on the bog 💩grin

You know you mustn't but I totally understand the urge!

It's more like a primal desire, I can smell it still (might actually be infused into my bedding)

Depends. In my house it would be fine cos it's probably been colder than the fridge in my bedroom the last few days due to having to turn off a leaky radiator.

In your case though I would say probably not!

If the room has been cold it might be OK, heating on, no way. I often leave half a cheese salad baguette by my bed and finish it the next day, my room is cold though. I do this when I am not feeling well, not as a matter of course.

We have no heating upstairs, please do not convince me into this as I do not have any cheesy chips to go with it.

Tiredmum100 Sun 17-Dec-17 14:20:46

No! Don't eat it!

6demandingchildren Sun 17-Dec-17 14:21:52

If it's any excuse I had 3 large glasses of wine last night and I'm hungover

JennyOnAPlate Sun 17-Dec-17 14:22:42

I wouldn’t. Buy a new kebab op.

NickMyLipple Sun 17-Dec-17 14:22:49

I would eat it, but I am.probably more minging than most!

HemanOrSheRa Sun 17-Dec-17 14:23:22

Oooh no. I'm pretty easy going where food is concerned and even I wouldn't eat it!

6demandingchildren Sun 17-Dec-17 14:23:40

I'm feeling a tad feral

IHaveBrilloHair Sun 17-Dec-17 14:26:44

Oh, I probably would, but I'm a bit skankygrin

I would of made a very good Eve in the garden of Eden as that Apple would of remained intact, but if it was a kebab on the other hand I think I would of clawed Adams eyes out for it and the world we live in now would be a figment of our imaginations......
I think the kebab is making me delirious

I think your safe window for eating it closed about 24 hours ago. If you find yourself getting tempted, just think about dry toast and rich tea biscuits for Christmas dinner!

Having said that, it's Sunday. The day when we traditionally eat chicken, roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy. So if you ordered another chicken kebab, chips, salad and garlic sauce to eat fresh today, it wouldn't really be deviating from tradition all that much. Think of it as a roast dinner with a Mediterranean twist!

I must get the kebab into the bin but more delicious aroma might escape as I move it.
I need someone like kebabbusters to keep me safe.
I can feel I'm getting weaker.
