I'm 24+4 and haven't felt baby move since this morning.

Is this normal because I'm so early on?

Please get it checked out sorry previous experience

Yes please go and get checked. The mws will be very happy to reassure you.

Get checked out ASAP as previous poster suggested, also on way to getting checked out try having ice cold drink or something sugary.....

Try lemonade or coke. My DD used to respond within seconds of me drinking some. Think it was the fizz

Ratbagratty Fri 15-Dec-17 21:07:07

Go get it checked out please. Could just be baby position, but well worth the check up.

Have a cold drink, eat something sugary and lay on side. Tap your belly. If nothing straight to get checked out.

Definitely get checked. Hope all is ok.

Drink a really cold glass of water. Have you eaten recently? If both fail I would call your Doctor or hospital.

Namechangeforprivacy01 Fri 15-Dec-17 21:09:55

I've just had dinner and a large glass of Coke. I'm laying on my side now and poking my belly. Still nothing.

Who do I phone this late?!

Stroller15 Fri 15-Dec-17 21:10:47

You know best what you usually feel. I agree with previous posters, go get it checked out smile

Phone the number on your hospital notes, usually maternity ward. Hope everything is ok xx

Please get checked out. It should say in your pack of paperwork from first midwife appointment. In my area you ring delivery suite at any time with reduced movements. Since this morning is quite a long time.

If you don't have the info just ring delivery suite they'll soon tell you if you need to ring somewhere else.

Please get checked. Call maternity unit. I had a similar thing at 25 weeks pregnant and was advised to go to the maternity unit. Give them a call- the number should be on your notes somewhere.

So at 24 weeks I had no real pattern of movement but I would still worry if hadn't felt for a while. The advice is not to wait overnight and to call hospital (24 hour no in blue book). I was told to drink cold glass of water and eat some carbs then lie on my left hand side with no phone tv or radio and see if felt anything within an hour then call them back and if still concerned they would say come in and we'll check hearbeat (and more checks further along you are I think ). It happened a couple of times to me and was fine but better to check I think good luck

SparklingSnowfall Fri 15-Dec-17 21:16:07

Yes please get checked, hope all is ok

Hope all is ok, have they said anything about an anterior placenta? Because they told me with that it would be very inconsistent and I wouldn’t properly have a pattern until 28 weeks.

Still get checked though!

QueenAmongstMen Fri 15-Dec-17 21:34:57

I hope you're on your way to getting checked out and I hope everything is fine flowers

Namechangeforprivacy01 Sat 16-Dec-17 10:19:44

I went to the maternity assessment unt last night and luckily everything was fine! They used a Doppler and ultrasound and said she has turned and facing back hence the change in movement.

Thanks all!
