Do we need one upstairs?

Someone let it slip I was getting an amazon echo for Christmas.

My daft question is do I need a dot for upstairs or do you carry the Echo around?

Who do you want to listen to you having sex?

I have a google home in every room.

Haha, MrsPestilence hadn't thought of that one grin

Wow! Really, HidingBehindTheWallpaper. I get the feeling it's going to be an expensive present.

I love it.
It talks to the lights, thermostat and tv.
I can walk into the living room and sat ‘tv on’ and it turns it on, the same for volume and changing channel, very useful when stuck under a cat.
The lights go on, off and change colour on voice command. It’s lovely to be able to turn all the lights off when in bed.
I can ask it to play the radio or music all around the house or just in certain rooms.

This is the google home though, rather than the echo.

We just have one in the sitting room and it's enough.

That said, the DC are getting one each for their rooms for Christmas fgrin

How much did it cost thought to set up all of that, HidingBehindTheWallpaper?
