I haven't bought a single thing yet 😱 should I be panicking confused I'm usually more organised than this but this year time has just flown by! I've got DCs, DH, my parents and brother to buy for so not toooo many people but still I'm starting to feel like I should start panicking or something!

I haven't. It was my younger son's birthday last week, and eldest's tomorrow. I never think about Christmas until after they are done. I will start shopping on Friday. Plenty of time. I always do it this way. Ut's fine.

Just today ordered my first one,Amazon will be my friend.

According to my 'On this day' Facebook feed, every year I start shopping right around now.

It's always worked out just fine.

VeryFoolishFay Tue 12-Dec-17 19:35:15

I have found my people. It will all be fine.

Fellia Tue 12-Dec-17 19:37:24

I’ve not even thought about it yet sad

HolyMountain Tue 12-Dec-17 19:45:57

I’ll start it next week, my kids are older now and there’s not a big extended family to shop for. I was never one to shop early even when they were much younger, it was always fine.

It's definitely time to panic!!

Maudlinmaud Tue 12-Dec-17 19:51:06

I did the majority of mine yesterday but hadn't started until then, I'm not panicked. I just really needed to track down some items for my youngest, wasn't easy I can tell you. I've literally done it all online. I need to buy for dh and his parents still but they aren't hard to cater for.
Christmas really creeps up on you.

madmomma Tue 12-Dec-17 19:55:58

If it's any comfort I think the last minute gifts always seem to be the best.

NoCanoe Tue 12-Dec-17 19:57:20

No need to panic!!
I thought I was doing well this year with an early start, but flu and family related stress knocked me sideways. So I'm nowhere near now . .and I personally feel too bluddy ill to care!

blueskypink Tue 12-Dec-17 19:57:52

Ages to go yet! And, no - I haven't started.

happymummy12345 Tue 12-Dec-17 19:58:00

We have recently moved, so we haven't even got a card yet, let alone anything else. We will start ASAP.
We are having a simple Christmas this year due to the expense of moving. Buying for ds mostly, and a small token present for a few close family members. That's it.

MumGoneMild Tue 12-Dec-17 19:58:06

You brave bastards fshock

I'd be far to panicky that all the sho poo s would sell out or some disaster would stop me getting to the shops and there would be no gifts.

Kentnurse2015 Tue 12-Dec-17 19:58:48

Me. I just can't be arsed

MumGoneMild Tue 12-Dec-17 20:00:51

As per my name - I did buy a bottle of Coole Swan a friend requested but seeing as I’d never tasted it before it now needs to be reordered

mydietstartsmonday Tue 12-Dec-17 20:05:41

Did 90% online yesterday.
John Lewis, House of Fraser and MS turkey and bits,
Don’t despair online is your friend.

Allyg1185 Tue 12-Dec-17 20:14:45

If mine isn't done by the end of November I panic

Fellia Tue 12-Dec-17 20:21:48

Needto I misread that as “a bottle of coke” 😂

Which would still be more than I have done.

Maudlinmaud Tue 12-Dec-17 20:23:37

Coole swan is amazing, I hope you enjoyed it.

billybullshitterz1 Tue 12-Dec-17 20:30:42

I'm getting married on the 28th Dec. All of my money is going on wedding prep. And I have a major family birthday tomorrow. I'm not worrying it will all come good! grin

fourpawswhite Tue 12-Dec-17 20:31:56

Me, can't be assed. Bought fizz half price from m and s. And a echo dot probably for myself. That's all. Got a very long list. It will get done. Going next Tuesday, hopefully. It's more the wrapping that will cause an issue for those that need delivered. The rest I do with my niece on Christmas Eve.
