My daughter is having her first 'friends from school' party.

6 friends. For 3 hours.

What am I supposed to do to entertain them? What should I cook?

Get them to make their own pizzas, cupcakes and smoothies/milkshakes. Will keep them occupied for a short while! Then a DVD.
Get in loads of jewellery making stuff, and let them make necklaces, bracelets etc. You can buy large quantities of beads quite cheaply on eBay. Probably Amazon too. Then pizza and ice cream, and a DVD.
Or swap the beads for white t shirts and fabric paints, so they decorate their own t-shirts.

I would do 2 hours, it's more than enough.

Does your dd like craft stuff? You could buy something for them to decorate - mugs, t-shirts etc. It will keep them busy and they'll have something to take home. Look at Baker Ross online for ideas.

Food - pizza always goes down well. And birthday cake.

Agree with pp either make their own pizzas or bun decorating, then eat and cake for an hour then just let them play - they will amuse themselves at that age.

I already sent invites with 3 hours.

Was thinking of decorating cupcakes.

The beads is a good idea too. It's mixed party so would boys be ok doing that?
