For me its.
Abandoned places
Large buildings
Ships in dry dock.
Under the sea. I live not too far from the River Mersey, and The thought of what's in their both terrifies and fascinates me
Lighthouses.
Pylons.

Those creepy sealife animals that live in such deep dark water they have no eyes or colour.
I cannot imagine living in permenant dark cold and I really don't want to be re-incarnated as one

Old-style mercury arc rectifiers - they're creepy in every way imaginable.

hesterton Thu 23-Nov-17 21:17:43

Dank gloomy dark brown leaf strewn forest ponds.

TriHard27 Thu 23-Nov-17 21:18:17

The deep sea and the horrible looking creatures in it.

Those picture of holes with things inside them. They make my skin crawl but I also sort of want to salivate and squeeze them too.

Abandoned playgrounds, especially if a piece of play equipment is moving, like an empty swing, swinging or an empty roundabout turning.

Awwlookatmybabyspider Thu 23-Nov-17 21:20:50

Ooh Good Lord. I don't like those number stations. They look like twisted pylons. Shudddddddderrrrrr

Sporner Corner here.

I could read all day but I’m terrified of the videos.

Liliannna1 Thu 23-Nov-17 21:23:15

This one will sound ridiculous compared to others: I am petrified of crabs but I'm facinated by their shells and their pinchers and joints and how it all connects to make them scuttle sideways shockblush

ScandiGirl10 Thu 23-Nov-17 21:25:44

Old medical stuff like iron lungs, mostly for the thought of being in one.

somethingDifferent38 Thu 23-Nov-17 21:27:04

Jacob Rees-Mogg grin

TreacleFarl Thu 23-Nov-17 21:27:44

Now I'm cursing myself for looking up number stations and mercury rectifiers; both are creepy as hell.

For me it's wind turbines, certain types of stop/start animation, tall buildings/chimneys and mannequins of all kinds.

FlashTheSloth Thu 23-Nov-17 21:31:28

What you said OP, especially dry dock, it freaks me right out. As does big trains that go along a track that is just in the middle of the land, like America etc.

Chenoble.

Giant puppets/mannequins of the type used in festival parades etc. There’s a giant royal family they use for a lot of events in Chester and apparently they are all stored in a big warehouse outside town, not far from my village. Freaks me out to think about it.

Yep to the answer "Sporner Corner". I venture in there, start watching one video and ... yeuch .... but I go back for more!
