I have to buy presents for my family. We do not usually celebrate, so it it just a gesture really (so around £5). This is all in a rush as I have to fly to see them for an emergency (on Sunday).

I am very stressed for this and many other reasons and I feel I really cannot even think of what to get them, could you please suggest a few ideas for:

35-45yo females
40yo male
60yo male
80yo female
8yo boy
10yo girl

thanks so much

At £5 each I would probably just get a box of chocolates for everyone

I'd pop into Boots & buy them all a nice little gift set in the 3 for 2 deal.

£5 is a tricky amount I would get edibles, biscuits/ chocolate

Would it be easy to do all in one shop? If so, books? Or hotel chocolate?

If not, lego for 8 yr old boy. Snazzy lip salve for 10 yr girl. Luxury hand cream for women. Chocs or socks for men. Might be able to do it all in Boots! Don't fret too much, it's a rtoken and sounds like you have a lot on your plate.

Books for the kids and a £1 selection box . 2 books for £7 in Tesco.

Nice hand cream for older lady

Socks or bottle openers for the men and a choc orange

Boots have nice sanctuary bauble gifts at £6 3 for 2 with different scents for the women

Or the Boots 3 for 2 online has some nice edibles eg posh chocolate buttons in jars.

Thank you you all so much!

Forgot to say - they do not read English so, no books unfortunately.

And, yes all in one shop would be idea!

Boots then for the 3 for 2. There's good little kids things there. You can even do it online and collect in storectomorrow.

If you go to their Christmas 3 for 2 you can filter to £5-10 pounds.

The Lego ideas book is good and pictures so won't need english

Ten year old would like toiletries

I would get all the adults a bottle of wine. Loads of offers around now (eg buy 6 bottles, get 25% off) to get a little bit better bottle than usual for £5. If the family are in the UK, or somewhere else that has online shopping, you could get it delivered to save lugging it around.

Nice selection packs for the DCs.

I'm thinking not in uk Barbara as don't speak English so that would be pretty heavy in flight luggage.

Otherwise great idea.

If everyone will be in the same place then just get a really nice, big box of chocolates and a selection box each for the kids.

As already mentioned, hotel chocolat do nice boxes.

If you don't actually celebrate and it's just a gesture, an edible, communal gift is fine.

Many thanks everyone
I got some toiletries and chocolates, but somehow managed to not find anything for the kids!
