Who else got hardly any sleep last night?

Just about to make the first of many cups of tea, thought I'd see who else is in the same boat.

I barely slept, for no apparent reason, and feel a bit rubbish - hoping food and tea help dramatically though. Long day ahead.

Anyone else feeling sleep deprived this morning?

Yes going through a bout of insomnia at the moment, I look like I've aged 10 years in the last 10 days!!!

Hope the tea helps, I'm on cup number 3......

KERALA1 Mon 20-Nov-17 06:55:22

Omg are you me? Normally sleep fine but barely slept last night.

Battleax Mon 20-Nov-17 06:56:00

Me too. I'm averaging about three hours a night recently. Broken sleep at that.

Horrible isn't it?

Me, awake from 3am, long day here too - home at 9pm.

Just having some tea and toast. Ds has been up every hour since midnight and is running a fever. Feeling ok now but will be shattered tomorrow

Me - currently experiencing an IBS flare up that is worse than normal. Probably due to stress but I was up most of the night with abdominal pain and nausea with naught to show for it!

Me sad co-slept with baby as she’s been poorly and she was so restless and was up for the day at 6, despite my best efforts to persuade her otherwise. Got to drive three hours with her later so will need to get a power nap in somewhere!

For some bizarre reason I didn't sleep too well last night either.

And I had taken a sleeping tablet..

Chimchar Mon 20-Nov-17 07:02:47

I’ve been awake since 4am. Again. sad
I seem to be stuck in a crap cycle that I can’t break....all stress related I think.
And then of course the worry about being tired which makes everything worse! confused
Hope your days go ok everyone. brewcake

I've had zero minutes of sleep sad

Couldn't sleep for worrying about my dd, she is severely constipated ( I have a thread on chat ) and she wants to go to school today and i don't think she should.
Started lactulose at 7pm Friday night and still nothing.

She is 6.
I have fibromyalgia so am in agony and can barely keep my eyes open.
Ds is getting up soon but he pretty much sorts himself out.

Dp just left for work.

It's going to be a long bloody day, Yorkshire tea on a constant loop here smile

Cupoteap Mon 20-Nov-17 07:03:25

Me I woke up at 2 and couldn’t get back to sleep

Roystonv Mon 20-Nov-17 07:03:55

Very broken sleep last night, that or weird dreams! Good luck to all those who have a difficult day ahead of them.

rockofages Mon 20-Nov-17 07:07:37

Me too. Up in the night for loo, nose blowing, too hot, too cold etc. Winter snuffles, eyes like p holes and a full on week ahead. Already dreaming of getting back in bed tonight.

I don't drink tea or coffeeblush can I have a diet lemonade instead please.
I was awake at 2.22am as dd was coughing and sick with cattarr again. She fell asleep after 30mins but I couldn't sleep. I think I fell asleep about 5.30 and my alarm went off at 6.30 to get ds and dh off to work and school.
I have an essay needing to be finished for Wednesday deadline and yesterday I hiked 14 miles with a group of children for charity.
Today is going to be a long day. I feel I've gained more new wrinkles overnight. sad

Me too. The baby had got better with sleeping then a bad illness means it's all gone to shit and she's back feeding through the night and sleeping on me. And now I'm too tired to do anything about it

BulletFox Mon 20-Nov-17 07:11:24

I'm a terrible sleeper, it's never been one of my skills grin

Girls just wanna have fun was just on on R2 so I feel quite buoyant however!

TheVanguardSix Mon 20-Nov-17 07:12:47

My kids all slept perfectly! Perfectly through the night!
And I'm wide awake at 4:30am.
I feel stressed.
Too much on. Too much in my head.
My brother is recovering from a Whipples surgery and total removal of pancreas. He's all I can think about really.

FaFoutis Mon 20-Nov-17 07:13:27

me. been wake since 2am and drinking my eighth cup of tea. I have made good use of it though, doing an assignment. Not looking forward to today.
