I'm just curious as to how many you have had.

I'm having my 12th in January. Three were gynae related and two were c-sections. The others were unrelated to each other. It feels like a lot (not compared to some, and I don't mean to be insensitive AT ALL). DH has had 1. I'm 48. He's 43.

2. I'm 46. Adenoids out as a child and gallbladder out 18 months ago.

I've had 3, an emergency appendectomy, an EMCS & an ELCS. I'm 38, my partner hasn't had any.

I've had 7. All unrelated.

Although I consider myself quite healthy really!

I’ve never had an operation. With my 2nd dc they kept threatening me with a c section if I didn’t get baby out soon, but in the end I managed it on my own that is the closest I’ve ever come to an operation!

Dh has never had an operation either

I had my first 6 weeks ago. I’m 30

I have had 4 c sections and 1 gallbladder removed on Friday

Pupsiecola Tue 14-Nov-17 18:50:35

Two of mine have been cosmetic. One on my lower back. One on my toes when I was a kid (to straighten them). One arthroscopy on my knee. One where all 4 wisdom teeth were removed.

It seems I have had a lot!

Pupsiecola Tue 14-Nov-17 18:51:01

Hope you're recovering okay chaplin.

1 c section.
I'm 44.

ProfYaffle Tue 14-Nov-17 18:58:58

That seems like a lot.

I've had 3, dh 4, dd1 1 and dd2 2. I think that's a lot in one family!

Lules Tue 14-Nov-17 19:00:10

2 sections and 2 others. I'm 32.

It's odd if you hadn't mentioned c sections I wouldn't have included them even though it was much bigger surgery than the other two and the last one was only 7 weeks ago!

Bearwithverylittlebrain Tue 14-Nov-17 19:02:12

3 c-sections
tummy tuck
Various gyne related procedures under GA
Hysterectomy
Gallbladder removal

I'm bored now and am hoping that there will be no more hospital visits.

I'm very late 30s

Almost 42 and waiting for number 12. One was gynae, the rest have all been bowel related, I’m now minus a chunk of small bowel, all my colon, rectum and have what’s fondly referred to as a barbie bum.

tissuesosoft Tue 14-Nov-17 19:09:58

Oh and surgical removal following a twin pregnancy miscarriage

AndNoneForGretchenWieners Tue 14-Nov-17 19:10:10

Tonsils out as a child
Lump removed from vulva
Sleeve gastrectomy
Hernia repair

That's four ops.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners Tue 14-Nov-17 19:10:39

Oh and a surgical termination, and a D&C after a miscarriage. Six.

implantsandaDyson Tue 14-Nov-17 19:13:28

I’ve had my tonsils and appendix out - so 2
My husband has had quite a few - he was badly injured as a child so had several operations on his skull/head and subsequent skin grafts
We’re in our 40s

StewPots Tue 14-Nov-17 19:27:21

I've had 3. A c-section, a gynae one and one on my wrist. However I'm about to go for my 4th on Friday which is a Day surgery in and out job. Although I'm off work all week after and have to take it easy with light duties after that.

StewPots Tue 14-Nov-17 19:27:52

Forgot to add, I'm 34. DH has never had one and he's 27.

Autumnchill Tue 14-Nov-17 19:29:22

One, all 4 wisdom teeth removed about 26 years ago
