This morning my 3 yr old son clambered into my bed and announced "I did a poo in the toilet" after recieving the appropriate praise he continued "it was like 3 conkers falling from a deer"....... I was a little speechless. What wise words do yours come out with?

My god daughter would walk around saying “my mind is so weird, my head is so weird, my hands are so weird” any time she surprised herself by managing something she didn’t think she could.
She is now 16 but we still say it when there is an element of weirdness in something

We were driving along in the rain and 3yo DD said “the rain on the windows sounds like a bacon sandwich”

DS1 tells me "I like you because your everything I need" he first said it at 2 years old and still does at 5 I love it.

TitaniasCloset Tue 24-Oct-17 22:41:27

Oh yes! Maybe because the bacon sizzles when it's being cooked? Or was the rain just making her hungry?

LittleHearts Tue 24-Oct-17 22:42:46

That's really clever, TheFifthKey.

LittleHearts Tue 24-Oct-17 22:44:29

X-posted... I took it to mean it's similar to sizzling.

TheFifthKey Tue 24-Oct-17 22:45:10

It was the sizzling! I thought that was such a good observation.

Why did you have him first (from DS2 about DS1)?

“It’s not funny Mummy. It’s dangerous.” confused This was off the back of her wittering on about a Fireman Sam episode.

If you choked on anything my mum used to say "that had bones in it" my dd about 3 at the time had been on movicol for severe constipation and when the movement eventually happened she sat on the toilet and cried "that had bones in it" grin

My MIL had taken the dog for a walk and SIL wondered out loud when she'd be back. Dn piped up very calmly that "she's probably dead".

My little sister who was 3 at the time, told me off and accused me of not "understanding the situation I'm in" because she couldn't carry all her teddies at once? She was right tho 😂
