furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:22:59

i can't see it being on tv for long - lol - surely children will hate it

Nousernameforme Sat 21-Oct-17 15:23:48

Im not getting the joke

furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:25:11

no joke - its genuinely dcs would have been terrified.

ThedementedPenguin Sat 21-Oct-17 15:28:05

I kind of thought you were being a tad OTT but I’ve just shown is to dd who is 3 and she covered her eyes & complained it was scary.
Thankfully we don’t have tv so she doesn’t need to see it again

DollyMcDolly Sat 21-Oct-17 15:29:36

There is no way that ad is scary. At all. Especially not for an adult.

HolyShet Sat 21-Oct-17 15:32:11

That's not remotely scary

But then my kids are 'nails

RiversrunWoodville Sat 21-Oct-17 15:33:25

Dd2 (2) loves it, mind you she is fearless. Dd1 is a scaredy cat so we will see what she does thlsmile

JonSnowsWife Sat 21-Oct-17 15:34:14

I have a DS with ASD & ADHD who is scared of his own shadow.

This ad bothered him not one jot today.

furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:36:38

ok just me then.i'll hide behind you lot when it comes on tv again smile

Graphista Sat 21-Oct-17 15:38:25

Whatshouldmyusernamebe Sat 21-Oct-17 15:38:46

insancerre Sat 21-Oct-17 15:40:19

furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:40:31

Laiste Sat 21-Oct-17 15:43:37

It's the jerky floating about that's a bit ew i think.

(reminds me of the jerky movement in the grudge and various others).

furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:47:06

yep the music too and the clown face on the left

megletthesecond Sat 21-Oct-17 15:48:52

I thought the Asda one with the green eyes was creepy blush.

furlinedsheepskinjacket Sat 21-Oct-17 15:50:43

thanks meglet - i'll avoid that one too

hugoagogo Sat 21-Oct-17 15:52:32

Erm it's the asda one that's a bit freaky, sainsbury one seems very bland to me.

SchadenfreudePersonified Sat 21-Oct-17 16:03:12

I don't know where thus fuss about Halloween has come from (I'm lying - it's from AMERICA!)

I liked it better when Halloween was just a turnip-lambed filled evening before Bonfire Night (hated Bonfire Night. . . )

Theseaweed Sat 21-Oct-17 16:07:48

Not scary at all.
