I picked up a few bits from the shop and left the stuff to go upstairs on the stairs.
Now they are upstairs and put away.

Either I have been burgled or have a poltergeist. It can’t be DH can’t it?

Well he's certainly not mine, so that's one fella out of the running.

mumonashoestring Fri 20-Oct-17 20:55:09

Have you checked the doormat for suspicious lumps? grin

WingsofNylon Fri 20-Oct-17 20:56:27

My DH nipped over and did it for you. He puts my mug away before I have time to pour the water in it!

Even after a conversation about the dog falling over stuff left on the stairs, stuff is still not moving in my house!

Santawontbelong Fri 20-Oct-17 21:12:46

Santa has been and tidied up?

Namechanger2735 Fri 20-Oct-17 21:14:32

Take any children and or animals and get to a safe place! You have an intruder

treaclesoda Fri 20-Oct-17 21:15:06

Maybe my husband has been to your house? He tidied up so much that I could be in the middle of baking a cake and I turn my back for ten seconds and find the wooden spoon washed and put back in the drawer...

treaclesoda Fri 20-Oct-17 21:15:25

Not tidied. Tidies.

underkerstumbled Fri 20-Oct-17 21:17:39

Things like this used to happen in the house when I was a kid. My mum said it was the TidyUp Fairy grin

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery Fri 20-Oct-17 21:18:57

DH says you must have done it and forgotten.

PickAChew Fri 20-Oct-17 21:19:57

He's having an affair with Marie Kondo. Sorry flowers

RB68 Fri 20-Oct-17 21:20:30

Why is it I end up with the Fuck Up Fairy and you get a TidyUp one

fairygarden Fri 20-Oct-17 21:22:19

Earlier I said ‘oh there’s no tomatoes’ he actually went to a shop and bought some without me asking.

I had already realised that I did actually tomatoes mind you.

ZippyCameBack Fri 20-Oct-17 21:29:19

You have proved the existence of the Housework Fairy. Or you have Brownies. No other answer makes sense.

HidingBehindTheWallpaper Fri 20-Oct-17 21:32:55

I think it may have been the cat.
