Who can recommend somewhere to holiday in the UK for 2 adults? Ideally with lots to do! Traveling from the North East.

Tell us what you like? History, nightlife, nature ...

Good food, walking, learning about things/places, activity/craft days. Not keen on amusement parks or getting drunk!

Best holiday I've had in the UK was the NC500 in the Highlands in 2016 although I hear it is more popular now. You can also factor in whiskey or Gin tours 😬

North Antrim coast in NI. Combine with couple of days in Belfast (only 75 mins apart) or Donegal just over the border.

Norfolk. The walking is amazing and there are countless decent pubs and restaurants that serve really great food. One of our favourite places to eat:

Just done the lakes which is what inspired the thread as we had an amazing time.

What's the NC500? Love Gin & Whiskey tasting!

The Duck Inn looks unreal. Where would you recommend staying? Area or actual location.
