Just that! I need inspiration!
Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is one really, unless you could t the SNES mini.

Some years are like that, nothing stands out.

Ooo bit extravagant - any ideas more along the fidget spinner price?
Thank you for replying smile

Going by 6yo DD and her friends, those Fingerling monkeys are going to be this year's Hatchimal.

nailslikeknives Mon 16-Oct-17 22:12:01

I'll check that out smile

Think the Luvabell doll is popular this year keep seeing posts of Facebook about it being sold out. My daughter hasn't asked for it thankfully considering its £100 or something and not even that attractive!

Cantthinkofaname123 Mon 16-Oct-17 22:15:44

Oops just saw your other post about price range. Agree with fingelings.

nailslikeknives Mon 16-Oct-17 23:38:12

Fingeling monkeys look about right, thank you!

Haudyerwheesht Mon 16-Oct-17 23:43:08

For my dd and her friends

LOL dolls
Fingerlings
Jojo bow maker

SP00KYLilBucket1 Mon 16-Oct-17 23:52:11

Fingerling!

Montsti Tue 17-Oct-17 06:35:08

Yes fingerlings & Luvabella dolls...

Notreallyarsed Tue 17-Oct-17 06:36:36

Definitely Fingerlings, I can’t get hold of them anywhere. Both DD and DS2 want one for Christmas.

gamerwidow Tue 17-Oct-17 06:38:56

Slime also v popular

ForalltheSaints Tue 17-Oct-17 07:04:44

Something Star Wars related, possibly.

Notreallyarsed Tue 17-Oct-17 12:59:36

Star Wars action figures were on BOGOF in Tesco last week if anyone is looking. I got a couple for DS1.

nailslikeknives Tue 17-Oct-17 13:07:15

Fab ideas, thank you!

crwox Tue 17-Oct-17 13:23:44

Yeah LOL dolls - they are already out of stock everywhere here!

dantdmistedious Tue 17-Oct-17 13:24:50

Fingerlings and is possible the unicorn one

SilverySurfer Tue 17-Oct-17 13:25:40

No-one will know until the shelves miraculously empty of a random item which instantly becomes THE must have toy of the year, hysteria ensues, people queuing round the block while stores dribble out a couple of the treasured item a day, at double the price, obviously. Cynical? Moi? Noooo grin

Notreallyarsed Tue 17-Oct-17 13:28:31

Who decides what the “in” toy is every year? Why does it become such a big thing?

Peopleplease Tue 17-Oct-17 13:46:40

Luckily enough DD got a fingerling for her birthday.

The other big thing is possibly the giant LOL ball. It’s pre-order only at the moment.

PricklyCacti Tue 17-Oct-17 14:00:28

People it’s 60 quid though! 60 POUNDS! I begrudge paying £10 for the normal ones.

Peopleplease Tue 17-Oct-17 16:16:51

hatchimal eggs could be big - they’re bringing out a treehouse thing.

Keepingupwiththejonesys Tue 17-Oct-17 16:20:11

Cheaper ones that are looking popular this year are

Fingerlings
Bush babies
Enchantimals

Keepingupwiththejonesys Tue 17-Oct-17 16:26:41

My dd1 begged for an LOL doll, a friend gave her one...she played with it once. She's someone who plays with toys all the time too but really wasn't fussed on it at all. Obviously others will love them and play with them often but I'm sooo glad I've not spent on them.
