Does anyone make their own candles (scented or normal)?

I seem to remember someone on here mentioning that they did. Are they a faff to make?

I do they are more tricky than you think , I make with with soy wax and use 10% fragrance percentage. There may be candle making workshops near you which might be worth looking at. If you go to www.craftcourses.com they have loads. It's quite scientific but very rewarding. I love it smile

I do all the time. I find it v easy and non messy so maybe I am doing it wrong grin.

Soy wax in a glass jar - melt in microwave drop in the scented oils, stir and drop a wick in. Prop the wick up until set.

Wait a few hours and label.

Nothing scientific at all about mine. They are v nice too.
