I'm feeding the baby who is too big to be still having 2plus feeds a night but I'm top exhausted not to take the easy route of feeding him then going back to sleep sad

I'm not actually up but I awoke and am struggling to get back to sleep.

Hope baba feels better and you get some sleep.

Just woke up an hour ago and can't fall back asleep, made worse by over thinking everything, and then worrying about stuff.

Ds1 fell out of bed waking ds2 and now both are sleeping in my bed with me hovering on the edge.

LoveVintage Sat 23-Sep-17 04:23:35

Because DS (18) has just phoned me from outside to ask me to open the back door to let him in, as he's just home from a party. We had left it open for him, argh!

Stress related insomnia. The question of how exactly I teach 2 very challenging children (combination of significant SEN needs and zero English) is apparently bothering me on Saturdays too.

Dog needed a pee!

Allyg1185 Sat 23-Sep-17 04:27:55

My stupid fuckwit of a husband has come in drunk. Bleeding from his forehead, throwing up, completly incoherent.

Got him in the recovery position and im now lying listening to him breathing. Hes going to wish he had never been born when he gets up

Countessofthebadthings Sat 23-Sep-17 04:29:45

Almost 35weeks pregnant, was sleeping until 4yo DD2 decided she wanted cuddles about an hour ago and joined me in bed. Can not get comfy again, reflux has kicked in so now staring at the ceiling till dawn at least xx

catsarenice Sat 23-Sep-17 04:30:29

Blood testing DD who has type 1 diabetes. My turn as DP stayed up to do the late test.

Longdistance Sat 23-Sep-17 04:32:31

Oh no Allyg, how rotten. I hate being woken by drunk Dh. Does his injury need A&E?

I'm always awake this time of the night/morning. I have insomnia, and walk around like s zombie for the rest of the day 🙄

VinsArmy Sat 23-Sep-17 04:32:39

This past week I seem to have forgotten how to sleep.

Justanothernap Sat 23-Sep-17 04:34:39

This is somewhat cheesy but I find it kind of nice everyone dropping in about their issues & also being concerned about my baby. smile

Anyway he's been up since 2. Going to get other half to do his shift in a bit so don't feel too sorry for me. Think he's settling a bit anyway. Poor little thing.

Sympathy to the stressed, insomniacs and the unwell. And those with little kids strealing the bed.. special mention to the person with 4 week old twins! Also not sure how I feel about the teenagers waking their parents up still... grin it's never ending it seems!
