How often do you change your bedsheets?

That's it really. How often and why? If you change them every week do you consider people who only change them once a fortnight or once a month slovenly?
Do you think children's bedsheets should be changed less frequently than for grown ups?

Change maybe once a month. Don't care what others do.

Weekly. We spend 50+ hours a week in it so I figure it needs it, if I ever won the lottery I'd have someone change it daily for me. Kids weekly too.

I think anyone not changing bedding and towels regularly is probably a bit lazy and dirty but we are all different 😉

Weekly. Up to 10 days if OH is away. Monthly is just skanky.

ToothTrauma Wed 20-Sep-17 19:44:42

Once a week.

once a week.

once a month is gross!

When I lived with DP ... weekly. Now I live alone maybe fortnightly... I shower before bed so figure I am clean when I get in it....

Our bed is changed weekly, DS cot sheets also changed weekly and his grobag changed every couple of days. Obviously if he's sick at all they are changed. He's bathed every night so I don't see the need to change his sheet more often than weekly.

All the beds get changed every week on a sunday.

cherrystorm Wed 20-Sep-17 19:47:59

Once a week.

I do have to remind my teen daugters to,change theirs though otherwise I think one of them certainly would just leave it and leave it!

Its just me so I change them when I can be bothered. Fortnightly perhaps? Month at a push in winter.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross Wed 20-Sep-17 19:51:22

Weekly. I love clean sheets night.

Would hate to leave them longer than a week - that would be a bit grim. And it take ten minutes to change them, so it's not like it's a massive job...

ToothTrauma Wed 20-Sep-17 19:51:35

I have to say it doesn’t bother me what other people do in their own homes BUT if I go to stay somewhere and the sheets aren’t fresh I’m not happy angry

Every week. Like a PP if I was rich I would have clean ones every day.

GrasswillbeGreener Wed 20-Sep-17 19:53:29

I aim for weekly on the basis that if there is a reason not to one week it won't be more than a fortnight. Same for the children's beds but again, relaxed if I get too overloaded to do it.

Ttbb Wed 20-Sep-17 19:54:03

Minimum once a week but more often if I feel the inclination/have the time. I love the feeling of fresh sheets!

StylishDuck Wed 20-Sep-17 19:56:24

I change the fitted sheet, top sheet and pillowcase weekly. Duvet cover gets changed every fortnight. DD's bed is changed every week too. I also iron all my sheets (which I know from previous threads puts me in the minority). I love getting into a freshly ironed bed with clean jammies on a Sunday night smile

Bluntness100 Wed 20-Sep-17 19:57:04

Weekly. After a couple of weeks it's a little rank to be honest. Kids sheets the same. Sleeping in dirty sheets isn't pleasant.

I can't imagine monthly, that's a bit grim really.

Bananalanacake Wed 20-Sep-17 19:57:23

Every two weeks but our Puky 4mo Pukes in the bed so now it's weekly.

pigletpie29 Wed 20-Sep-17 19:58:20

Fortnightly. I can't let it go for more! But I wouldn't want to do it more often as it's a right pain to wash and dry all the bedding on the radiators in the winter.

Runningyogabooze Wed 20-Sep-17 19:58:29

Once a week if both of us. If I were single maybe once a fortnight as I don't sweat in bed like DH does!

Once a month is revolting!

Anatidae Wed 20-Sep-17 19:58:32

Once a week.
Ds was ill last week and his sheets got changed daily - covered in snot and drool. Grim.

If I had staff I'd have them changed daily. I love fresh sheets
