Very sad to hear! We have the Trumpton/Camberwick Green dvds, the kids loved it as much as I did at their age.

The PCSO dropped into their nursery to visit the kids and mine were convinced he was PC McGarry (number 452).

I adored Brian Can't, he was funny, clever and witty, all wrapped up in a kind genial gentleman. Love Trumpton and Camberwick Green as they are so sweet and lovely and gentle. Saturday afternoons were Playaway for me. Sleep tight Brian...

So sad. He always seemed to be on the telly when I was a little girl (I only ever saw him on our black and white TV!)

Wormulonian Mon 19-Jun-17 20:23:23

sad that he had Parkinson's. So many lovely memories watching Camberwick Green/Trumpton , Play Away and Play School when I was a child in the 60's.
