dilemma for daughter

Daughter (16) is quite fussy when it comes to hairdressers (when she was a toddler she only let a male barber cut her hair Confused) and would only go about once a year.

She has finally found someone she likes and bonus at a local hairdressers and has made her own appointments as she can walk there on a Saturday, feels grown up and has started to have regular trims and for her birthday had some highlights put in which in turn will encourage her to continue regular appointments.

The younger sister of hairdresser attends my daughters school and has started shouting out things to her saying "my sister does your hair, you need to make more appointments" "suppose your mum paid for your highlights" (I did) "your face still looks crap" and so on ... daughter feels really uncomfortable with it now as she is being harrassed pretty much on a daily basis and has started saying she no longer wants to go.

Sorry for the long story, but I'm asking should I tell the hairdresser what is going on? I go there too and see someone else but feel it will be a bit awkward if she stops as hairdresser always asks after daughter.

I'm rubbish in situations like this as I don't want to upset anyone and neither do I wish to change hairdressers either Blush

I would talk to the school first as it's an issue happening there. You could mention it to the hair dresser as well in a did you know your sister does this sort of way. Nip it in the bud before it becomes a real issue.
