I'm having no trouble buying bits and pieces but am stumped for a main present. Any ideas?

MP3 player
Sylvanian families canal boat
and a go go hamster and car (had hoped for other bits but gave up hope and went for Sylvanian themed stuff - which her little sis is getting some too.) Trying to avoid fights !

How about one of the kiddizoom cameras? We got one for DD2's 6th birthday and she loves it. Of course no-one is safe now, there is no more going to the toilet and not locking the door behind you cos she likes to burst in with the camera!
For xmas we have got her the hannah montana malibu beach house cos she wanted something to play with her barbies in and all the barbie houses we saw were naff or too expensive.

Rolled up under our bed is the most enormous sheepskin rug that dh found in Costco (lurve that shop!) We have no carpets, won't do for a while, and our floorboards are dire. Dd's room is going to be slightly more comfortable very soon.

We've also got her one of the VTech Kiddyzoom cameras. And there will be some odds and ends, too.

Her birthday falls just before Xmas, so she gets two main presents in one week.

DSi - rather than DS because of the camera
Sylvanian stuff
Secret diary
barbie stuff
mini sewing machine
dog/cat costume
Wii/DS games
bikes

I have twin girls who are 6 on 14 Dec, so I have considered many options, on behalf of all their rellies!

Lockets - I have had MP3 player since her birthday - a good 6 months... Wanted to preload it with sounds and never managed it... So it feels generous but on her birthday she didn't get much - though to be honest she didn't notice !

it was going to be a telescope because she said she was going to ask father xmas for one, but she didn't in the end, which was a relief! her main present is a sewing box, with pretty scissors, pins, buttons, ribbons, thimble, sequins, ricrac, rhinestones, trim glue, felt in various colours and a pre-punched sew-your-own bunny kit
