he's not even 1 yet but wanted to get a classic children's book. haven't actually read it myself blush

i would do Peter Pan (you can get lovely gift editions of that) or Wizard of oz, as mentioned.

don't know how classic you want to get: full versions for reading later or something to be enjoyed as a child, bvut take a look on Usborne's website because they've got a lovely picture book edition of a collection of classic stories for little children. isbn: 9781409508519
