Am planning to create little customised gifts for some dc, but need cheap and cheerful, rather than swanky and posh, otherwise cannot afford to put anything in them!

Am near lots of major towns, so any chain is possible!

Am thinking of a baking tin, a vets tin and a jewellery making tin to suit different children grin. All excited about them!

I got a Simpsons tin lunch box from Boots, it was £8 but on a three for two.

What a fab idea!

Have you tried googling? Or the pound shop LOL!

am too virusy to go out atm! Poundshop is my first stop! We also have 99p shop and 97p shop!

no reason not to buy online, just trying to keep costs down and postage can be so high if I happen to be in town anyway.

Plus unlikely to beat poundshop price wise!

I did a similar thing last year but used the tough cardboard type "suitcases" as I didn't see any tin ones about other than expensive sandwich box types.

The mini-suitcases I bought were from one of those cheapy clothes shops that does some homeware stuff -is it QS or BeWise? something along those lines. They were slightly bigger than lunchbox size and cost about £1.50/£2 IIRC
