Hi. My girls are 3yrs old and nearly 7yrs old. DD1 wanted a double buggy for xmas and then changed her mind. I have now brought DD2 a double buggy for xmas but not sure if I should buy the same for DD1 as they will probably end up fighting over it! What would you do?

little things (for us this year sparkly slippers) yes but big things no, i think it does them good to learn to share (also we have no room for duplicate toys). although i am planning making to make dd2 a matching stocking to the one i knitted for dd1 before dd2 arrived, as that's a special personal thing and i'd feel bad if dd2 didn't have one.

i also reckon the number of times they'd actually play with them at the same time wouldn't justify the extra expense. still i can understand the attraction of breaking up fights so easily

Yes in certain cases, mine are 5 and 8 and both want the Go Go Hamsters and all the crapthat goes with it, so have brought one each to stop bickering over it, and most small things are similar, but maybe different colour.
