have bought a wooden click clack track today from elc for the youngest

have 5 dc,resricted myself last year to one main present and only 5 smaller stocking filler type presents. i think you can get carried away otherwise!! it worked well,felt they had enough,and there was less packaging to dispose of (my pet hate)

ipod speakers for dd 15,dd 13 wants a mobile,again,she loses them,but am reluctant this time. no other ideas yet,,..

I'm getting the littluns something cheap...

for their 5th birthday, we got new lovely cutey shiny pink bikes. I put them in the living room with a load of helium balloons for when they got back from school, and fucking fabulous it looked too

...then I overheard Granny asking them what they got for their birthday, and they both chorused balloooooooooons

DD1 wants a mobile phone. Not sure about that one yet but am considering now she is in secondary school! DD2 wants that Furreal friends Butterscotch Pony and DD3 wants the smaller one called S'Mores! They are very expensive so DH and I are still discussing this!!

DS wants Thomas the tank engine things

never seen the small one only the big one but I cant imagine a small one being any better Id have nightmares about the fairies shrinking it!

(can you tell dd1 loves Disney films )

Ds2 wants a laptop (he is 14)
Ds1 will get smellies and clothes and bits and pieces (he is 18)
The dd's are 5 and 3 and the eldest wants a baby Chou Chou with teeth and dd2 wants 'presents'

Oo thanks pippel I'll try and go to a shop that has one on display and see if I think I could bare to have it in the house! Maybe I can get them both a S'mores pony and they can be twins!

DD1 (7)wants a desk and swivel chair for her room and DD2 (4) wants a beanbag and some Barbie clothes. I am more than happy with this so far.

Have got dd2 a wheely bug and some ITNG things
ds is getting an ipod shuffle (my idea) and a snooker table (his idea)
dd1 has no idea but started muttering about Rosies world dolls , got her a high school musical dress up today!

dizzymac - Ikea do some really nice swivel chairs. They had a lovely light pink one. Also comes in black and wood I think

Lilyloo - I know this is not the place to be asking this but just saw the lovely french plaits in your DDs hair on your profile. How do you get them so neat and pulled tight? Mine never look that nice!

Now when dd2 starts school i won't have a hope in hell , might be lucky to get a clip in

Feel a bit that I have already been buying stuff on ebay for the DC's for Christmas.

I think we are going to get a wii. The DH says the DC's will love it .

From ebay I've got DS some used brio stuff for his 3rd birthday in November and I've got my DD some Barbie DVD's and bits and bobs.

Wanted to get DS a Thomas engine shed. Have you seen how much the used ones go for? £30+. I was shocked. So he's got a cranky crane instead.
