Think of the environment and go in the UK instead? This place sounds amazing. Can't wait for mine to be old enough!

Yada - ignore me, this may not be as good as it looks!

I think that one is as good as it looks. I have friends who've been and loved it. It's not the same one that was in the news last year, where they couldn't find any elves.....but they were eventually spotted smoking rollies behind a trailer. That was in the New Forest.
Pricey though.
And if you're in Scotland yada, probably not much nearer to you than Lapland. Well an exaggeration - but perhaps not worth the big journey.

The daytrips are so expensive and the kids get so knackered. You are there and back in a blink. It's best to save and go for a couple of days - the cost isn't that much extra and you get to make the most of it a bit more - without screaming, tantrummy, tired kiddies!

By the way, Canterbury Travel is fantastic - specialise in Lapland trips

I would have a trawl for old posts on here before you decide, mucho poor publicity about lapland uk from poster that had been - tis nr me so I recall the relief at not having parted with my hard earned cash!

Went with Canterbury travel for a 5 day trip to Lapland last yr, not quite as magical as I'd hoped - there is a co rec'd by one of the dads on here, they were really helpful when Canterbury cancelled my trip at short notice despite having had my deposit for 6 months.
