We are having dinner at mil's on Christmas and Boxing day hence lack of turkey. We did the booe shop at netto but ended up getting Bailey's form ocado too as I ahd 2 minutes left before my booking expired and it was telling me I needed to spend over £90 and all i ould think of to bump it up was a litre of Bailey's!

I don't have all day to type out my list... plus mine is so huge as I'm filling the freezer with pre-cooked meals for when DS arrives in Jan, so not really representative of our normal christmas shop.

Oh and before anyone mentions it the Dolmio is just to stick on pasta for a quick meal I do make spag bol from scratch.

Xmas meal is roast pots, broccoli, brussel sprouts and nut roast. Not that much different so apart from sprouts haven't bought any new or different just cos its crimbo.
Breakfast will be toast as usual and tea pasta and baked beans.
I did stock up on cream and butter though as dd is on the ketogenic diet and needs half a litre of cream each day!

I have a still-in-date Christmas pud left over from last year and have made mince pies already.

Smoked salmon and chipolatas in the freezer bought cheap a while back.

Olives and dill pickles in the larder.

All the veg apart from spuds was in the organic veg box as well as eggs.

We already have decent wine/champagne/spirits in the house so no need to buy anything else alcoholic (not that we're big drinkers, we tend to build up a surplus over the year from gifts etc)

I've tried not to go overboard this year as it seems wasteful when there are only 2 of us adults plus small child really.

We'll have Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and then leftovers from that with nice bread and chutney, pickles etc. Other than that it is business as usual.
