IdrisTheDragon Fri 17-Oct-08 12:39:03

I'd like some new knives. Especially a bread knife that actually cuts bread, rather than needing to saw away at it ineffectively.

FAQ Fri 17-Oct-08 14:10:59

Cordless irons are SHITE - I bought one for myself and got rid of it 3 weeks later as it was awful - took me bloody ages to do the ironing as they don't retain the heat for long so you have to keep remembering to put it back on the "charger" thingymajig worst purchase I've ever made

I'd like a Wii Fit - already buying myself the DS's a Wii for Christmas grin

Dominion Fri 17-Oct-08 14:14:27

My Christmas wish list is very long this year.

I need:
Freezer
Coffee maker
waffel iron
kitchen curtains
living room curtains
bedroom curtains
kitchen table and chairs
A double bed for me and dh, including materass.

I have: a sofa. grin

I have told all family members if they want to give me something for Christmas, a voucher would be good. smile

ShowOfHands Fri 17-Oct-08 14:14:51

I'd like English Heritage membership, a provisional driving licence and a haircut.

And a tweed jacket from Joules.

Dominion Fri 17-Oct-08 14:14:59

Actually. I just need my credit card debt erased.

AbbaFan Fri 17-Oct-08 14:16:03

Pollyanna Fri 17-Oct-08 14:19:51

a weekend away

QuintessentialShadow Fri 17-Oct-08 14:20:59

This year, all I really want for Christmas is to not get into any further arguments with my sister. sad
I fear it will be a Christmas on tenterhooks, as we have so many unresolved issues bottled up.

However, when my family asks, I say "just get me a little something for the house, like a bed for ds1 grin." He needs a big boy bed now. The pine bed I have in my attic seems very girly now....

wonderstuff Fri 17-Oct-08 14:22:44

I want a new house and all my credit card debt paid. I will get money for clothes which will be spent on some random massive bill, as is the case every year (boiler broke last year)

Tortington Fri 17-Oct-08 14:23:01

i asked for a dressing table

but i really think i should get one of those anyway. - furniture is such pants as a prezzie

dh was threatening to buy me an eternity ring ( after 18 years) .....i might let him

mistressmiggins Fri 17-Oct-08 14:26:02
