He's got:

Ben 10
Star wars Lego
Transformers - Decepticons

Indiana Jones Lego for his birthday on Saturday (he'll be 6)

I was thinking New Super Mario and what else?

I didn't realise that the games were compatible, they usually aren't. I'll have to keep it in mind.

he got lego Indiana Jones for his birthday (in 2 days) does he really want the Batman as well? I was looking at that on Amazon.

the price difference in unreal. New releases are about $34 which is about £17.

Mario Karts
Doctor Who Top trumps
Disney friends

These are the ones my DS plays quite regularly. The Lego ones are always favourite, v good for younger ones.

My DS will swap between the three Lego ones. The Batman one is good.
KerryMunchingonEyeballs, have you heard of an R4/Firecard for the NDS?

KerryMumchingOnEyeballs Thu 16-Oct-08 22:27:47

no what's that?

threetinytots Thu 16-Oct-08 22:34:02

Uuum, it's a card that will let you play games which you can download. Obv backup copies of games you already own, you understandwink.

They are both the same size as a normal DS cartridge. The R4 has a slot in the top to put a MicroSD card which you connect to your PC via a USB stick provided. You can then download free games straight onto the MicroSD and play them through the R4 card.
The Firecard works on the same principal but has its own built in memory and you download directly to the card via an adaptor in the expansion slot on your NDS. I have these for my DS and DD1 as then they can't lose the microSD!

Forgot the most important bit, they are around £35, the Firecard is a bit cheaper around £25. The 8bit firecard holds approx 20 games which I find is ample for my children and every so often my dh will change the games and put new ones on for them. We've had Lego Batman for about 2 weeks.
