bah humbug - its a season!

I put some on when I baked my Christmas cake last week wink

DeJaVous Mon 06-Oct-08 08:56:52

That is just weird IMO. It is OCTOBER, the beginning of October at that.

How can Christmas possible be any fun if you've been doing Christmasy stuff for months in advance?

Buda Mon 06-Oct-08 09:01:06

Not even I have done that!

murphyslaw Mon 06-Oct-08 09:11:03

Dejavous - the idea is that I will be so well prepared that I will be able to enjoy Christmas instead of running around stressed out and in packed shops!!!!! wink
Or at least thats the idea.

DeJaVous Mon 06-Oct-08 09:23:55

Early preparations I understand, Christmas music in October I don't.

Whatever floats your boat!

Funny thing is, I won't even do any Christmas shopping until probably Dec 22. Christmas cards, probably I'll hastily fill out on Boxing Day. But I have already planned our Christmas dinner menu and it's just that Sarah McLachlan's Christmas album is very nice and not too Christmas-y. She even does a lovely cover of Joni Mitchell's "River". It's not like I am listening to Bing Crosby sing "White Christmas" over and over again!!!!

Oh crikey - can smeone tell me how to hide the blardy Xmas threads?

Me too. Sorry grin [blush} !

I sing "away in a manger" to my daughter every night all through the year, as she likes the song. There's no harm in it.
Don't let these miserable buggers put you off. grin

I think that when it starts to get cold, I start looking forward and thinking about christmas. I love christmas, and the cosyness of this time of the year.

SquiffyHock Mon 06-Oct-08 19:32:25

I looked on the EuroDisney website today (thinking about going to see Santa) and I cried blush blush blush

mummyloveslucy Mon 06-Oct-08 19:42:47

Nothing to be blush about, you sound like me. wink grin
