Mine isn't up yet (I live alone & had an accident a while ago and still can't really use my tight arm. I've been putting off getting stuff out of the loft because it's difficult & hurts. Neighbours & friends are a combination of old/scared of heights/pregnant/etc)

Maybe I'll do it tomorrow....

But when it is up it's a riot if colour, sentimental mush mash of colours and generally probably looks like Christmas threw up on it! Unlike your co ordinated trees! Which look lovely!!

But I love it, so that's what I do!

Walkley18 Sat 04-Dec-21 18:03:34

OP I love your first one especially! V festive and traditional!

ApolloandDaphne Sat 04-Dec-21 18:04:00

My red and gold one has many baubles with massive sentimental value on it. A few years ago my tree fell over and some of my favourite ones were smashed. I sobbed like a baby.

Its a bit sparse. First real tree. I've tonnes more baubles but dc have all the colourful ones on the tree they have in the playroom

ApolloandDaphne Sat 04-Dec-21 18:17:25

That's gorgeous @Pegasussnail. I love all the different shapes and types of trees.

Houseofvelour Sat 04-Dec-21 18:34:58

Here is ours 🎄

scrivette Sat 04-Dec-21 21:24:24

This is mine, has been up for a few days.

maofteens Sat 04-Dec-21 21:31:39

We cut ours down today. Have to say the selection was dire and I was all for going to get one of the almost perfectly shaped pre cut ones, but we had walked all over and my son had travelled 70 miles... so ours feels a bit second rate to be honest but hopefully after decorating it will look better.

BeaMends Sat 04-Dec-21 21:32:57

The tree is in place, but as yet undecorated. DD likes to decorate it with me and she's working tonight. We'll do the festooning in the morning. smile

ApolloandDaphne Sat 04-Dec-21 21:41:56

Looking forward to seeing those decorated trees.

Needed a ladder to get to the top blush don’t buy an 8ft tree when you’re only 5ft! Also don’t buy 2000 fairy lights- you’ll swear a lot as you untangle the buggers!
